Dine Below the Line Community Dinner

Dine Below the Line is a fun, informative cooking competition that aims to raise awareness on food insecurity by having local chefs prepare a gourmet meal using items typically found in a food pantry. Guests learn more about food pantries, eating healthy on a budget while voting for their favorite chef. Everyone is welcome! Free admission, but donations appreciated!
- This year’s Chefs/Pantries include:
- Chef Jerome Mangroo, Urban Eats Food Truck Owner, partnered with the James O. & Wilhelmina Bryant Food Pantry in Piscataway
- Chef Steven Tepper, Copper Hill Country Club – partnered with Unity Square Choice Food & Resource Center in New Brunswick
- Chef Dan Slobodien, Retired Chef/Owner Pearl Street Café and Dan’s on Main – partnered with First Presbyterian Church of Metuchen
